Homework materials Year 6 English Homework. For many parents, homework is the only picture they get of what their child does at school. For this reason, Hamilton have put a great deal of effort into writing suitable, fun and home-friendly activities for children and parents to share together. Children will benefit and so will parents and teachers! The activities rehearse core literacy skills.
Year 6 Homework. Each week, the children will have English, Reading and Maths homework. In addition to this, the children will also have termly Creative Curriculum homework which links to their topic for that term. Weekly homework is handed out on a Thursday and due in on the following Thursday. In Year 6 we expect all homework to be handed in on time. We ask all children to try their best.
Welcome to our new homework grids. Children in all year groups from Reception to Y6 will receive a half termly grids with a range of exciting topic activities to complete alongside key skills tasks. Many activities on the home-school grid are not designed to be tracked or marked by class teachers ('physical exercise' and 'helping at home' are obvious examples).
